Hartmann Verpackung adds the crowning glory to the egg
Hartmann Verpackung is giving its full support to eggs on this year’s World Egg Day on 8 October. Especially for this day, the producer of environmentally friendly moulded fibre packaging has designed an appealing logo for use on egg boxes. In addition, Hartmann is offering egg producers the opportunity to pro-vide consumers with even tastier recipe ideas and information about this nutri-tious product.
Every year, World Egg Day is reason enough for Hartmann to do everything it can to boost the popularity of eggs. After the egg packaging manufacturer's creative team produced a short film for YouTube last year, the product is to be given a conspicuous logo this year. Fully in line with the motto "A King for a Day", an egg with a cheeky grin on its face will have a crown placed on its head. Consumers will be able to see the logo on various types of egg packaging from mid-September to 8 October.
Advertising on packaging from Hartmann
Hartmann's graphic design and marketing team works constantly on the devel-opment of new ideas to offer its customers distinctive presentation options. This year, a label with a crowned egg is set to attract all the attention. On top of this, a homepage with information and recipes has also been developed spe-cifically for World Egg Day. Take the egg producer Goertz from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia by way of example, their packs of 10 Regina brand free-range eggs will not only display the logo but also a reference to the home-page www.hartmann-worldeggday.com.
Lots of space for information
In addition to all of this, peel-off labels provide egg producers with plenty of room for information on their own products and marketing campaigns. For ex-ample, regional producer Zapf presents a description of his farm and the quality characteristics of his free-range eggs on the back of the label. This can be done internationally too: Belgian trading chain Delhaize finds enough space on the la-bel to provide consumers with information in three languages.
Recipe ideas for consumers
The objective of World Egg Day is to inform the consumer about the valuable nutrients and wide range of uses of eggs. Hartmann uses its peel-off labels for this purpose too. The new label advertises World Egg Day on the front along with tasty recipes, while the reverse side contains new ideas for cooking and baking intended to whet consumers' appetite to use eggs. This version will be seen on the packaging used by egg producers Eierhof Hennes, for example.
Regional support
Hartmann is also promoting eggs as a natural product right inside its own work-ing environment at its offices in Eschborn. In cooperation with Hartmann, the "Broadway" canteen will be offering special egg dishes to lunch guests on World Egg Day. From the soup to the dessert, everything will focus on eggs on 8 October, including freshly prepared omelettes and egg salad. The free-range egg products will be sponsored by the regional poultry farm Geflügelhof Strauss from the Odenwald region.
