Hartmann receives award for turnaround communication

26-01-2009

Hartmann was recently awarded the ’Information Diploma 2008’ for the open and transparent communication about the turnaround process in the annual and interim reports and in the dialogue with investors and analysts during 2008.

Hartmann sets the standards

The Diploma was awarded by the Danish Society of Financial Analysts (DDF) and it's motivation was:
-Implementing a turnaround often incites to ‘make it short’ – especially until the changes are successfully carried out. That is not the Hartmann approach and as Management says in the annual report introduction: ‘Cleaning whirls up dust’ and then Hartmann lets the market follow the cleaning up and the plans for the coming years.

-We are talking about a very transparent reporting in a period with implementation of many and big changes in the company. Hartmann has to a great extent set the standards for how to use information openly in order to tell also the unpleasant news in a way that substantiate the credibility and creates confidence.

About the Information Diploma

The Information Diploma was awarded at the DDF New Year Dinner on 22 January 2009 and is an acclaim to a company quoted on the Stock Exchange for an outstanding effort in a particular part of its information to the stock market.
