Working at Hartmann

In Hartmann we support performance by an organisational structure and ways of working promoting empowerment

Organisational structure

We believe in placing responsibility close to the task, short lines of communication and cross-functional cooperation. This is reflected in our organisational structure, which in addition to the function-based line structure have cross-organisational functions and several management fora.

Ways of working

The structure is only a framework for performance. It does not in it self handle the accelerating speed of change and level of complexity. It is the way we work that makes us successful. The trademarks of our way of working are open communication and supported self-management where everyone is eager to meet the expectations.

Expectations to employees

Every employee is expected to adopt an attitude that supports our performance through pro-active cooperation, involvement and relation building.

Expectations to managers

To promote this attitude, managers are expected to be highly committed and focus on delegation of responsibility and transparency by providing employees with information needed to navigate and make use of the empowerment.
